Staff Accountant (A0015)

 Salary Range: $ 62,249.00 - $93,373.00 

 

 

Position Summary:

Are you looking to chart your Accounting career? We’re seeking a Staff Accountant to record and report financial transactions, prepare journal entries and account reconciliations, and performing detailed analysis of balances and transactions. You’ll have the opportunity to build a great Accounting foundation in a high-paced, build-to-order manufacturing environment. 

Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

• Prepare general journal entries and ensure all transactions are posted in an accurate and timely manner 
• Support month-end close processes, including adjusting journal entries and reviewing account balances
• Identify and summarize variances in account reconciliations
• Track and report financial and statistical information regarding: cash flow, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
•  Prepare cash report and reconcile daily banking activity and bank accounts
• Assist in annual statutory audit
• Report and submit payments monthly and quarterly for states and local governments
• Perform on-demand audits of physical inventory
• Perform special projects as needed

Qualifications, Skills and Education

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
• 1+ Years relevant work experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Excel
• Understanding of GAAP
• Time management and attention to detail
• Quickly grasp new concepts and processes

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience in public accounting, manufacturing or e-commerce
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamic D365 and/or AX
• CPA certification
• Proficient in Spanish
