High-level enough to script in Python, but low-level enough to suit up in a cleanroom and touch an actual Satellite? Then this role is for you if you are based in Munich or willing to relocate to Munich. <br/><br/>Join the Systems Integration and Verification (SIV) team to run test and verification campaigns on Reflex-developed satellite platforms. You’ll work hands-on with hardware, execute test procedures and develop tools and automation to streamline the verification process.<br/><br/>You’ll collaborate closely with all engineering teams to validate both hardware and software subsystems - from lab setup to campaign execution. This newly created position requires a candidate with substantial experience. For professionals earlier in their careers, we have a similar role tailored to those with less experience, which is currently advertised separately.</p> <h3>Your Mission:</h3> <ul><li>Develop and execute test procedures for the satellite-level test and verification campaign in Munich</li><li>Support environmental test campaigns on system- and equipment-level</li><li>Automate test execution and reporting workflows</li><li>Set up and maintain lab tools, testbeds and test environments</li><li>Support preparation and remote execution of test procedures on our flatsat in Berlin</li><li>Support hardware integration activities in the lab and cleanroom</li></ul> <h3>Your Background:</h3> <ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related fields or equivalent work experience</li><li>You have <strong>several years</strong> of hands on experience as a System Integration Engineer or similar position</li><li>Proficiency in Python</li><li>Great experience in working in Ubuntu/Linux environments and using the command line</li><li>Experience working with Git (we use GitLab) and CI pipelines</li><li>You can demonstrate proficiency through multiple years of hands-on experience operating and troubleshooting laboratory equipment (e.g. multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and electronic loads) <br/><br/><br/>Nice-to-have:</li><li>Familiarity with Docker</li><li>Experience with InfluxDB and Grafana</li><li>Familiarity with Jupyter notebooks<br/><br/>And last but not least: you have a proactive can-do attitude, stay calm under pressure and are focused on delivering results.
