Job Description

• Assist HR plans and procedures for all company personnel.
• Compliance driven file management system for all employee files.
• Assist with recruitment functions including posting job requisitions, monitoring applications, and screening candidates. 
• Assist the onboarding process by launching onboarding activities, tracking post hire engagement, and scheduling post hire trainings for new employees. 
• Monitor compliance for local, regional, and corporate initiatives.
• Support and engage with employee relation activities. 
• Foster positive employee relations through effective communication and support. 
• Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
• Conduct training sessions for employees on HR topics, policies, and procedures.
• Maintain and update employee records and HR databases.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
• Participate in HR projects and initiatives as assigned.
• Assist, monitor, and periodically audit employee payroll.  All payroll report findings to Human Resources Manager and Project Director. 
• Assist supervisors and managers with SMART Goal compliance.
• Resolve employee issues with a proactive approach. 
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and discretion.
• This role may involve additional duties that encompass supervision and leadership responsibilities.
• This position may perform additional tasks as delegated.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or equivalent combination of education and related work experience.
• General knowledge of federal, state and local labor laws and regulatory compliance.
• Prior supervisor experience preferred.
• Must communicate professionally and positively with employees, customers and all levels of management.
• Experience using Microsoft Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Capacity to solve problems independently and as a member of a team.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills and the ability to easily maintain several projects and priorities concurrently.
