Job Summary

PSEG is looking for Summer 2026 Staff Intern for the Billing Team. 

The Billing team is responsible for maintaining customer accounts and ensuring accurate, timely utility billing. This role will support the Billing Analysts with day-to-day task such as executing and analyzing various reports supporting the Billing strategy. This job involves supporting PSE&G’s Customer Strategy, utilizing a broad knowledge of business, analytical, and financial skills acquired through previous course work or on-the-job training.

This position will be Hybrid Fixed. 

Job Responsibilities

Assignments will include working alongside professionals in the following areas:

• General support for the team with continuous improvement and reporting.
• Scorecard management, Manual Bill document process, weekly petty cash reports

Job Specific Qualifications

Required Education/Skills: The successful Incumbent(s) must be actively pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree from an accredited institution in business, data analytics, or similar majors and graduating between December 2026 and May 2029. Students graduating in May/June 2026 are not eligible unless they are enrolling in a post-graduate degree program in the fall term of 2026. PSEG recognizes institutions of higher education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent. Incumbents must have completed sophomore-level course work for consideration. 

Because this position will require traveling to various PSEG and customer locations, a valid driver's license and a safe driving record is required.

Preferred:

• 3.0 GPA
• Knowledge of Energy/Utility industry
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with keen attention to detail
• Able to meet deadlines, juggle competing priorities
• Strong Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
• Independent, energetic, team player and inquisitive spirit
