Part-time: 20-25 Hours Per Week
Primary Team Leader: VP - Finance
FLSA Classification: Hourly; Non-Exempt

JOB SUMMARY: The Finance Clerk is an integral part of the organization and works closely with the Finance Administrator and VP-Finance to maintain accurate financial records and provide financial office support to other departments.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Accounts Receivable
- Review daily ReStore sales reports and reconcile data sync between the Point-of-Sale system with the accounting software
- Resolve any discrepancies working with ReStore staff when needed
- Record and deposit check or money order payments received at least one per week depending on volume
- Accounts Payable
- Receive and review incoming invoices
- Input expenses accurately into bill payment software within 48 hours of receipt
- Set up new vendors and maintain accurate vendor records according to company policy
- Reconcile corporate credit card account. Includes verifying proper receipts and approvals obtained. Input credit card expenses into accounting software monthly.
- Grant Assistance
- Assist with grant submissions including gathering invoices and proof of payment copies required for grant funding
- General Business Operations
- Identify vehicle licensing and titling needs, complete online or in person at the DMV
- Annually submit vehicle personal property tax exemption declaration
- Renew business licenses and certificates of good standing
- Assist with audit preparation (financial audit, insurance audits, etc.)
- Develop positive relationships with other departments to maximize cooperation and mutual support
- Identify vehicle licensing and titling needs, complete online or in person at the DMV

Requirements
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Experience using QuickBooks or other accounting software preferred
- Strong communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Must fully embrace working in a diverse environment
QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field preferred; an equivalent of education and experience considered
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an accounting, bookkeeping, or accounts receivable/accounts payable role preferred

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Individual may be subject to intermittent moderate noise levels.
