Job Summary:

The Maintenance Technician (Mechanical) is responsible for maintaining the mechanical integrity and reliability of production equipment used throughout the structural steel fabrication and components manufacturing operations. This position performs preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on fabrication equipment, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, overhead cranes, conveyors, material handling equipment, and production machinery to maximize equipment reliability, reduce downtime, and support on-time production of structural steel assemblies and components.

Working closely with Engineering, Electromechanical Maintenance, and Operations, the Mechanical Maintenance Technician identifies mechanical failures, completes repairs, performs equipment installations, and supports continuous improvement initiatives that improve safety, productivity, and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, rebuild, and install mechanical systems supporting structural steel fabrication and secondary manufacturing operations, including:
  • Structural steel fabrication equipment, automated production machinery, and component manufacturing systems.
  • Cold-forming equipment, hydraulic press brakes, plate processing equipment, and saw systems.
  • Welding positioners, fabrication fixtures, production tooling, and assembly equipment.
  • Material hand
