Our products support scientists in the fight against cancer, newborn baby screening and ensure the quality and safety of food and beverages, whilst continually driving innovation!</p> <h2>Responsibilities</h2> <p><strong>As a Cloud Software Developer you will:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Will contribute to the design, implementation, deployment, configuration of scalable Cloud services and applications in a SaaS environment, with focus on Quality and Security. </li> <li>Will work as part of an Agile team using good communication and collaboration skills to optimize delivery</li> <li>This position will be responsible for following good practices and governance in SaaS environment based infrastructure, including cyber security and automated testing</li> <li>Will need to demonstrate solid judgement in technical matters and act on the solutions under own guidance </li> <li>Will be responsible for training and mentoring of less experienced colleagues.</li> </ul> <h2>Qualifications</h2> <p><strong>To be successful you will:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline strongly preferred; equivalent work experience required</li> <li>Solid knowledge and proven experience as a software developer, with exposure to elements of our back end technology stack (C#, .Net). </li> <li>Strong experience working within a Cloud environment - especially using Amazon Web Services</li> <li>Good experience developing microservices and APIs </li> <li>Front-End JavaScript Frameworks, especially Angular </li> <li>Knowledge and application of software engineering practices (e.g. Unit testing, TDD, CI/CD, SOLID etc.). </li> <li>Proven ability to work as part of an Agile delivery team</li> </ul> <p><strong>Desirable but not crucial:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Continuous delivery, with pipelines implemented in Kubernetes, Docker </li> <li>Experience using GitHub and GitHub Actions</li> <li>Behaviour Driven Development (BDD), with SpecFlow &amp; PactFlow </li> <li>Atlassian Jira, Confluence &amp; JFrog Artifactory </li> <li>Software security best practices and implementation (e.g. OWASP, PKI, X509 Certificates, TLS) </li> <li>Software development for regulated environments (e.g. 21 CFR11) </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>In return you will:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Desirable salary and benefits package</li> <li>Employee development with 10% learning encouraged for all employees</li> </ul> <p>We're actively building diverse teams and welcome applications from everyone.
