<h3>Company Description</h3><p><strong><a href="http://www.archirodon.net">Archirodon</a>, having earned its reputation as a reliable and respected international contractor for more than a half century in the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) market, continues to create value to its stakeholders by executing complex EPC projects worldwide, in recognition of its superior standards of performance.  </strong></p><p><em>We have an outstanding record in completing major Energy, Marine, Infrastructure and Defense &amp; Security projects around the globe and we pride ourselves on delivering over the years the kind of reliability and trust that the client has the right to expect from a major EPC contractor.</em></p><h3>Job Description</h3><p>We are constantly growing and are currently looking for experienced <strong>Mechanical Engineers</strong> to join our Mechanical Engineering Discipline of our Engineering Department in Athens. </p><p>Build towards excellence and join our worldwide journey!</p><p><strong>Role Summary: </strong></p><p>You will be working with a team of highly knowledgeable professionals, and you will undertake and perform accurately and confidently engineering, coordination and project team supporting tasks throughout the stages of international Oil and Gas, Power Plants, Energy, and Infrastructure Projects from tendering to startup and operation, leading effectively other team members under responsibility.</p><p><strong>What will you need to do:</strong></p><ul><li>Assist the Mechanical Discipline Head in the performance of everyday work especially regarding internal co-ordination, external interfaces handling and Discipline Technical advancement and development.</li><li>Review Mechanical documents received by 3rd parties (Engineering Subcontractors / Vendors) and identify any problems/design issues.</li><li>Participate in meetings with CLIENT/SUBCONTRACTOR/VENDOR related to Mechanical Discipline issues</li><li>Prepare key project documents (like Specifications, Mechanical Data Sheets, Material Requisitions, Technical Bid Evaluations, Mechanical Studies etc.)</li><li>Provide input data and contribution to other disciplines to develop their own deliverables such as Piping Drawings, Plot Plans/Layouts etc.</li><li>Participate in projects tender stage. This includes reviewing of TENDER documentation, identify any points of concern/mismatches among tender documents, and inconsistencies/deviations with applicable Codes/Standards that could have a cost impact, prepare tender clarification forms for Mechanical related issues, etc.</li><li>Perform technical bid evaluations for vendor offers and technical review of vendor drawings and documents.</li><li>Work in accordance with the requirements of company IMS procedures.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>BE or equivalent in Mechanical, and MSc</li><li>PhD in relevant field of expertise would be a definite advantage</li><li>Minimum 7 years of relevant experience (for candidates with no post-graduate studies, minimum 3 years for candidates with PhD) related to Oil &amp; Gas, Power Plants, Industrial Projects, and detailed engineering experience in the field of expertise (Mechanical engineering).</li><li>Technical competence in Mechanical engineering with strong technical background in static, rotating equipment and mechanical packages, pipe stress analysis and HVAC installations.
