Third (Nights) (United States of America)Sentara Norfolk General 5K Surgical Unit is hiring for a Registered Nurse for a Temporary Traveler Position! Must have two or more years of current acute care hospital experience. Contracts are for 14+ weeks. Night Shift
Must have 2 years of recent acute care RN exp. Must have valid RN Lic.
$70 per hour for a contract and Potential $5000 sign on bonus. Eligible for $5000 Sign on Bonus living more than 50 miles from the facility working.

Department/Position Overview: This unit specializes in the care of the Adult Surgical Patient. Registered Nurses rotate on PODs to assist patients recovering from the following surgeries: Bariatric (gastric bypass/gastric sleeve),Urology, General Surgery, ENT, Plastic Surgery, GYN Surgery and trauma overflow patients. This is also a Living Kidney Donor Transplant Unit.

Job Summary
The Registered Nursing (RN) is responsible to perform a competent level of nursing care as demonstrated by the critical thinking model known as the nursing process.
