Job Summary:

Job Description:

PayPal, Inc. seeks Software Engineer 3 in San Jose, CA

Job Duties: Design and develop tooling and automation for Mobile App Development Lifecycle. Develop new and enhance and support existing Cl pipelines. Build and implement tools and dashboard to capture quality metrics for mobile application code bases. Develop tools to increase the productivity of mobile developers. Gather requirements and design and develop tools and automation to improve the productivity of mobile engineers. Contribute to Agile planning sessions. Provide technical leadership for Google Cloud Infrastructure, Android build tools and test automation tools. Collaborate with a diverse and talented team to maintain PayPal’s technical tools and infrastructure operations. Partial telecommuting permitted from within a commutable distance.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering or a closely related field plus five years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.

Special Skill Requirements:

1. Experience with Android Studio, Xcode, Fastlane, and SonarQube (3 years).

2. Experience in writing gradle build scripts to compile, run tests and publish android APKs (2 years).

3. Experience with Fastlane, Xcode, Xcodebuild to develop build scripts, and Fastlane plugins (2 years).

4. Experience with Jenkins CI pipelines to setup, build, and deploy pipelines for iOS and Android apps (2 years).

5. Experience in installing, setting up and maintaining Jenkins CI server to support different work loads (2 years).

6. Experience in coding unit tests and functional tests using test frameworks such as XCUITest & Espresso (2 years).

Salary: $158,735.00-243,500.00 per annum. 40 hours per week; M-F, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
