Senior Full Stack Engineer
The Role
Fidelity’s Workplace Investing group is looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join us in the design and development of mission critical web applications and financial tools using the latest technology stack in a collaborative and engaging environment. As a part of WI Operations Modernization Chapter, you will partner closely with business, operations & engineering teams to implement next generation technology solutions to transform our operational landscape.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
- 7-10 years of experience building applications using a broad stack of technologies (UI, API, data, etc.) such as Angular, SQL, Java, J2EE stack, Spring/Spring Boot, Azure, SQL, Maven or Ant, Git and Test-Driven Development (TDD)
- Experience working in agile teams and sound knowledge of agile scrum methodology
- Hands-on experience with API Design & Development and Micro Services Architecture
- Experience with DevOps, Continuous Integration and Delivery tools like git, Jenkins, Maven, uDeploy and Stash
- Knowledge of Messaging Technologies (Kafka, Kinesis, SNS, SQS) is desired
- A keen ability to learn and develop expertise in new tools and products
The Team
The WI Operations Modernization Chapter consists of a team of technologists and BPM experts, dedicated to modernizing and transforming the systems that run Fidelity Workplace Investing’s operations. We focus on building cloud-based applications to modernize legacy software that run our operations and support the transformation of our workflows to a modern BPM platform.
