An exciting opportunity has arisen for an early career operational leader who wants to drive forward our award-winning early career programs at Rolls-Royce. This role will lead the North America and Canada early career operational team partnering with our businesses and outsourced providers to deliver a ‘One Rolls-Royce’ end to end service. This critical role will be responsible for the recruitment of around 200 hires (interns, co-ops, graduates, and trainee apprentices) and 120 early career individuals on programs across North America.
This role repots to the global heads of early careers and is a key delivery role within our new early career structure ensuring successful operational delivery of our North America and Canada graduate, intern, apprenticeship, and pipeline programs.

Key Accountabilities:
- Responsible for executing our early careers recruitment process, onboarding, programme delivery & offboarding for the North America & Canada region
- Regional responsibility for the relationship with the early career suppliers including demand planning, delivery against regional contract of services, risk & compliance, governance, commerciality & ROI, improvements, and key performance to ensure business need are met and user experience optimised
- Responsible for partnering with business stakeholders on the execution of our early career programmes including managing operational governance framework, local country management of processes & legislation, compliant hiring process, effective people data
- Own the relationship between Rolls-Royce and regional schools (age 14+), colleges and universities including collaboration with our internal and external partners to support STEM activities that contribute to future early careers talent growth.
- Understand and contribute to the effective delivery of early career attraction strategy within region including award partnerships, pipeline programmes and diversity partnerships
- Implementation of our onboarding and keep warm strategy including regional induction delivery
- Oversight of the delivery of centralise early career learning and mandatory training programmes
- Managing our supplier to ensure we have representation for outreach activities, attraction, and external award recognition in line with our strategy
- Deliver the offboarding process for graduates and interns within region including timely completion and company exit interviews
- Identify areas for improvement and in partnership with the wider early career team implement changes to optimize the overall experience
- Quality assurance of graduate and intern placements, escalations, and day to day programme management
- Execution of local pipeline activities including but not limited to Co-op programmes, insight opportunities and work experience
- Responsible for the North America & Canada operational early career governance boards including data management and reporting
- Ensure compliance with local labour laws, regulations, and internal policies
- Actively promote diversity and inclusion initiatives with our early career processes - ensuring all activity is aligned to the Diversity and Inclusion strategy and is woven into delivery plans
Basic Requirements:
- Associate degree and 7+ years of experience leading talent / early career development / early career talent acquisition within a corporate HR organization, OR
- Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience leading talent / early career development / early career talent acquisition within a corporate HR organization, OR
