Job Summary

Provides temporary support for recurring institutional budgeting, financial planning, and reporting processes. This position assists with large-scale cyclical projects, including annual merit increase activities, Salary Planner administration, Resource Allocation Management Program (RAMP) reporting, Illinois State Legislative reports and other state reporting requirements. Work includes data collection, validation, analysis, training, and communication. The position will assist in campus stakeholder collaboration to ensure the timely completion and accuracy of reports. Additional responsibilities may include report preparation, process documentation, system testing, training support, and special projects as assigned.

Salary Rate / Pay Rate

$49.24 per hour

Required Qualifications

1. At least 3-years of experience and demonstrated proficiency using Colleague, PeopleSoft, Comevo, Outlook, Visio and Excel

2. At least 3-years experience managing the completion of RAMP and ISL reports for Illinois Board of Higher Education, the Illinois State Legislature, and the Governor's Office of Management and Budget

Work Hours

To be determined upon hire - work up to 20 hours per week

Must be able to complete the following with or without a reasonable accommodation:

Sponsorship: Applicants for this position must be currently legally authorized to work for Illinois State University in the United States. Illinois State University will not sponsor or take over the sponsorship of an employment visa for this opportunity. Illinois State University is not a qualifying employer for the STEM OPT benefit: only the 12-month OPT may be used to work at Illinois State University.

Extra Help employees may only work up to 28 hours per week for all University employment. Employees are only paid for hours worked and do not qualify for most benefits including health insurance and retirement, with Illinois State University. However, Extra Help employees are eligible to participate in the University’s supplemental retirement savings plans (403b). Applicable retirement information is provided at the time of hire. There is no guarantee that working as Extra Help will lead to or secure permanent employment. In addition, extra help employees may only work up to 900 hours total during their employment.
