SAP Security Consultant

In this role, you’ll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Your Role and Responsibilities
Our client is one of the world’s leading mechanical and plant engineering firms with extensive expertise in automation, digitalization and energy efficiency. In preparation for the S/4 Hana migration, one of the client strategical objectives for 2024 and 2025 is to outsource the SAP support functions to one managed service provider: SAP Application Management Support (AMS-2nd Level inkl. customizing), SAP Basis, SAP Solman and SAP Authorization. Knowledge to be taken over in a 4-month transition.

• Minor Changes / corrections to active SAP roles (due to process, audit, project) including documentation
• Development / implementation of new SAP roles
• FIORI support and development (in regards of R&R)
• Unlock users and reset password

Optional/ project support:

• Role design
• Support for IT audits
• Development of new role concepts
• RFC interface development
• ABAP development as part of authorization management

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• SAP Authorization & Security administration and support relevant experience (1-2 years Junior; 3-5 years Senior) for SAP ECC 6.0
• Xiting, Sivis Webmanager or any other Authorization Tool
• Transport Management
• ITIL Foundation (Incident, Request, Problem, Change)
• Good communication and collaboration, client facing, proactive, self-starter

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Lotus Notes for Authorization requests
• German B2/C1
• Previous transition experience
