Job Description:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The list of essential functions, as outlined herein, is intended to be representative of the tasks performed within this position without accommodation. · Copying and scanning invoices and important documents

· Filing invoices and other documents as needed

· Sorting, organizing and shredding Documents as needed

· Preparing materials to be distributed at events/ meetings

· Front desk coverage

· Assist staff with deliveries and visitors

· Works closely with fiscal and administrative services team but may work with other programs/departments as needed

· Maintains safe, secure and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations

· Other duties and projects may be assigned

Expected Salary:

$14 hourly

Required Qualifications:

To qualify for a Federal Work-Study position at the University of Florida, students must be enrolled at least half-time, have financial need, and demonstrate satisfactory academic progress.

Must have Federal Work Study Award in Financial Aid Award page.

Preferred:

· Federal Work Study permit

· Available to work 8 to 20 hours per week

· Attention to detail in composing, editing, and proofreading materials

· Positive, team-oriented attitude with ability to work independently

· Creative and interested in learning new skills

· Ability to maintain professional relationships

· Strong verbal and written communication skills

· Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information/situations with discretion.

· Computer skills, Proficient in use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
