Senior Tax Counsel - US (San Jose)

About the role<br/>- We are seeking an experienced tax professional with a legal background to provide coverage with respect to tax structuring/planning, tax controversy, and the tax aspects of product launches and M&amp;A transactions in the United States. The role will partner closely with business, legal, accounting, and operations teams across a broad range of business and operational activities.<br/><br/>- Review and revise the tax provisions in legal documentation, including transactional agreements, terms of services for product launches, and contracts with third parties.<br/>- Conduct tax research and advice on tax structuring and planning matters.<br/>- Where applicable, manage US federal tax audits and draft responses related thereto.<br/>- Provide transactional support from a tax perspective, including tax due diligence and modeling, for M&amp;A transactions in the United States.<br/>- Work closely with business and operations teams and provide tax assessments/solutions to product launches and similar business matters in the United States.<br/>- Serve as the point person and assist other tax team members with respect to tax research and analyses in Subchapters C and K.<br/><br/>The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $159000 - $384000 annually.<br/>
