Operations Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Operations Manager to join our operations team in Coppell, TX. This mid-level role is responsible for managing day-to-day logistics operations and acting as the primary liaison between our clients, internal teams, and executive leadership. The ideal candidate will combine strong supply chain expertise with excellent account management skills to ensure client satisfaction, operational efficiency, and contract performance. This role is 100% in office.

Supervisory Responsibilities: Assist in managing operational teams in our Coppell, TX office.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, ensuring that all logistics and supply chain services are aligned with client expectations and contractual obligations.
• Manage end-to-end service delivery across warehousing, transportation, inventory control, and order fulfillment for client accounts.
• Collaborate with operations, transportation, and IT teams to ensure accurate and timely execution of client programs and SLAs.
• Monitor and report on key account metrics, including OTIF (On-Time-In-Full), order cycle time, inventory accuracy, and service-level compliance.
• Conduct regular client meetings and quarterly business reviews (QBRs) to review performance, identify improvement opportunities, and address issues.
• Identify process improvements, cost savings, and value-added service opportunities for client accounts.
• Assist in pricing reviews, contract amendments, and renewal discussions by providing performance data and operational insight.
• Serve as a client advocate internally, ensuring clear communication and rapid resolution of service issues or escalations.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Strong understanding of 3PL operations, including transportation management, drayage, warehousing, and order fulfillment.
• Proven experience managing client relationships and delivering against KPIs and SLAs.
• Proficiency in logistics and warehouse management systems (e.g., WMS, TMS, ERP). CargoWise experience is strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple client accounts and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Education and Experience:

• 5–8 years of relevant experience in supply chain or operations, with at least 2 years in a 3PL or account management role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field is a plus but not required.
