Senior BIM Technician - Mechanical

<p>To work as part of our Services Team to provide CAD/BIM support to engineering projects. The successful candidate’s role will be as an MEP Revit Technician within the WSP India in our Bangalore/Noida office producing BIM models and detailed engineering designs and construction drawings. You can expect to be active on several projects at any given time. You will report to CAD/BIM Manager in Project functionally and reporting to Line manager operationally.</p> <ul><li><p>Prepare MEP 3D Revit Model in LOD-350/400/500</p></li><li><p>Coordinate models with other MEP services, Architectural and Structural model.</p></li><li><p>Clash detection and clash resolution</p></li><li><p>Create Parametric Revit Families and Dynamo script.</p></li><li><p>Provide specialist support to design teams preparing analysis and design models</p></li><li><p>Support design teams and bid teams with the creation of 3D visualisations</p></li><li><p>Support design teams and bid teams with creation of 4D models / visualisations</p></li><li><p>Prepare quantities for use in BoQs from the 3D model.</p></li></ul><p>Key Competencies / Skills:</p><p>Experience in the use of the following software is essential:</p><ul><li><p>REVIT MEP</p></li><li><p>AutoCAD (2D and 3D)</p></li><li><p>Navisworks</p></li><li><p>Dynamo script</p></li></ul><p>Experience in the use of the following software is desirable but not essential:</p><ul><li><p>Autodesk 3ds MAX</p></li><li><p>MS Excel</p></li><li><p>MS Word</p></li><li><p>MicroStation.</p></li></ul><p>The candidate must:</p><ul><li><p>Have good English communication skills.</p></li><li><p>Ability to access the time requirement for completion of the task.</p></li><li><p>Be able to work closely with colleagues at a senior level.</p></li><li><p>Be computer literate.</p></li><li><p>Have a valid passport and be prepared to be seconded for up to 3 months as projects dictate (base will be Bangalore/Noida).</p></li><li><p>Ability to plan and manage his/her workload</p></li><li><p>Lateral thinking and knowledge in other MEP services.</p></li><li><p>Ability to understand own limitations and limitations of the software being used</p></li></ul> <ul><li><p>Engineering/Diploma in Mechanical engineering is preferred in addition to Draughting qualifications. </p></li><li><p>12+ year's production experience in design, drafting and engineering with significant experience in a similar role or demonstration of a good track record</p></li><li><p>Certification from reputed training institute or skill development center is an added advantage.</p></li></ul><p><span lang="EN-US">BGV:</span></p><ul><li><p><span lang="EN-US">Employment with WSP India is subject to the successful completion of a background verification (“BGV”) check conducted by a third-party agency appointed by WSP India.</span></p></li><li><p><span lang="EN-US">Candidates are advised to ensure that all information provided during the recruitment process — including documents uploaded — is accurate and complete, both to WSP India and its BGV partner”.</span></p></li></ul> <p></p> <p>WSP is one of the world's leading professional services consulting firms.
