Senior Software Engineer (NodeJS) - Flutter Studios<p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p>Senior Software Engineer (Backend) 1<p></p><p></p><p>Job Purpose</p><p></p><p>We are looking for a talented software developer within Flutter Studios Technology to help us building a new reliable and stable platform, that will become a fully featured supplier of in-house content for any operator or game studio to use. We are an exciting new product within the company, revolutionizing the world of Gaming by using a Platform agnostic game development and runtime environments that will take operator/brand integrations where they have never been before. You will play an integral role in bringing this product to life, through crafting a user experience that engages and delights our customers.</p><p></p><p>Key responsibilities</p><ul><li><p>Work with stakeholders to model and analyse functional business requirements for the required software components, where SDLC and best-practices are followed</p></li><li><p>Participate in the software development process from design to release including: design, document, test and develop solutions as well as code review and peer design activities</p></li><li><p>Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code</p></li><li><p>Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications</p></li><li><p>Implementation of security and data protection</p></li><li><p>Integration of data storage solutions</p></li><li><p>Deliver projects within project deadlines with a high degree of confidence and quality and be accountable for the changes implemented</p></li><li><p>Participate in researching, producing POCs, and evaluating new methodologies and technologies that improve quality, reliability, scalability, security, and performance of Flutter Studios Technology</p></li><li><p>Help Architects and Technical Leads perform system and gap analysis with given requirements to define functional and non-functional requirements needed to design the best technical solutions</p></li><li><p>Mentor and guide other developers by providing quality coaching and ensuring proper execution of their tasks</p></li><li><p>Any other requests coming from management</p></li></ul><p></p><p>Skills and Capabilities</p><ul><li><p>Bachelor’s degree or technical diploma in computer science, computer technology or related field</p></li><li><p>5+ years experience in software development</p></li><li><p>Strong proficiency with JavaScript and related supersets and frameworks (Typescript &amp; ReactJS) </p></li><li><p>Knowledge of Node.js and frameworks available for it (Nest.js)</p></li><li><p>Understanding the nature of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds</p></li><li><p>Good understanding of server-side templating languages </p></li><li><p>Good understanding of server-side CSS preprocessors </p></li><li><p>Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as HTML5, and CSS3</p></li><li><p>Experience working with Docker / Kubernetes</p></li><li><p>Understanding accessibility and security compliance </p></li><li><p>User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments</p></li><li><p>Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system</p></li><li><p>Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application</p></li><li><p>Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests</p></li><li><p>Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git</p></li><li><p>Excellent coding skills, ability to produce clean, robust and accurate code that meets the specifications</p></li><li><p>Knowledge of probability, statistiscs and different casino game rules is an asset</p></li><li><p>Strong understanding of the software development life cycle, analytical, problem-solving and communications skills </p></li><li><p>Capacity for being detail-oriented, well organized and have the ability to manage multiple projects at the same time</p></li><li><p>Experience working with Agile methodologies and JIRA is an asset</p></li></ul><p></p><p>What you can expect:</p><ul><li><p>25 days of annual leave;</p></li><li><p>Sharesave scheme;</p></li><li><p>”Flexible Benefits” of your choice;</p></li><li><p>Private health insurance (includes dental insurance and health assessments);</p></li><li><p>Thousands of courses online through ‘Udemy'</p></li></ul><p></p><p>Ways of working:</p><p><br/>Flexible working is our way of working!
