About the team

 

Application Security team is part of Security Engineering that focuses on SDLC security by providing guidance, design reviews, threat modelling and tools to Product Development teams. We are looking for a new team member with extensive development experience (Java) and some Security focused experience to help us align with Product Development even better. In our team we value autonomy and ownership, you’ll have your own domain and an opportunity to drive it to success.

What you’ll do

• Drive the initiative to improve existing processes and tooling around SDLC

• Perform code security reviews, provide guidance and recommendations on how to resolve security problems.

• Participate in threat modelling sessions

• Implement and improve automated security test suite

• Analyse and prioritize software vulnerabilities

What you’ll bring

• 5 years of professional Java development experience (preferably in Finance or other highly regulated industries)

• 2 years of experience in Security-focused role(s)

• Strong understanding of Security concepts and frameworks (preferably university degree or certifications)

• Self driven and motivated

• Good communication skills and ability to influence others
