Position Overview
As Product Development Leader, you will drive innovation in flexible packaging technologies—championing new materials, processes, and applications. You’ll lead and mentor a high-performing team of product developers, ensuring their growth and effectiveness as you translate market needs into competitive solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership & Development
• Hands-on coaching, mentoring, and performance management of product development staff
• Build career paths, deliver regular feedback, and foster a culture of continuous learning
• Technology & Innovation
• Identify, evaluate, and pilot emerging flexible-packaging and blown-film technologies
• Collaborate with R&D, engineering, and marketing to turn concepts into scalable products
• Project Management & Continuous Improvement
• Define project scopes, timelines, budgets, and deliverables
• Implement Lean Six Sigma or similar methodologies to streamline development cycles
• Track progress against milestones and drive cross-functional problem solving

Requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Packaging Technology, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred
• Proven track record (5+ years) in product development within flexible packaging or blown-film environments
• Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and retain technical talent
• Strong project management skills, with experience using formal methodologies (e.g., PMI, Lean, Six Sigma)
• Passion for process optimization and data-driven decision making
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
