The Director, Head of Global Facilities, Safety, and Security will be responsible for leading the strategic planning, development, and execution of all facets concerning facilities management, safety protocols, and security operations across all global offices of the company. This executive will ensure that all company facilities are safe, secure, and optimally functioning to support the operations and objectives of the organization.
What You’ll Do:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement global strategies for facilities management, safety, and security that align with organizational objectives. Provide leadership and direction to the global teams responsible for carrying out these strategies
- Facilities Management: Oversee the maintenance, renovation, and operations of all company properties. Ensure that all facilities meet the needs of the business and comply with all regulations
- Safety Compliance: Develop and enforce a comprehensive safety program that includes risk management, compliance with all health and safety regulations, and a proactive approach to preventing workplace incidents
- Security Oversight: Design and maintain robust security protocols for both physical and information security across the organization. Collaborate with IT to align on cybersecurity initiatives
- Emergency Preparedness: Develop and oversee emergency procedures and business continuity plans, ensuring all global locations are prepared for various scenarios
- Budget Management: Manage the budget for global facilities, safety, and security operations, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and cost efficiency
- Vendor Management: Negotiate and manage contracts with external vendors and service providers, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness
- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and manage a global team of facilities, safety, and security professionals. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development
- Reporting and Analytics: Regularly report to executive management on the status, initiatives, and progress of the departments under supervision. Use data analytics to inform decisions and improve operations
- Global Coordination: Ensure that all global sites operate cohesively under uniform standards but are adaptable to local needs and regulations
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Facilities Management, Safety Management, Security Management, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred
- At least 10 years of experience in a senior management role related to facilities, safety, or security, with a proven track record in a global company
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse, global team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with all levels of the organization and external stakeholders
- Experience in strategic planning and budget management
- Deep understanding of global compliance regulations related to facilities, safety, and security
- Proficiency in technology used in facilities and security management
