Sr. Product Manager - Lower Mass Segment Product Development

In this role, you will be responsible for translating the Lower Mass business strategy into product constructs and feature sets to enhance our competitiveness and bring an innovative and compelling product offering to market. You will sit in the Lower Mass general management team and work in deep partnership with the Core Deposit product and technology teams to ensure the Lower Mass product strategy is embedded in the Consumer Bank’s future state product design and execution. You will be expected to be the voice of the customer and own the end-to-end product lifecycle to develop, launch, and scale the future state product offering.
As a Sr. Product Manager in the Lower Mass Segment Product Development team, you will work in a fast-paced, startup like culture with an orientation towards delivering tangible customer outcomes and business results. You will be an experienced product leader, able to drive prioritization, clearly translate business objectives to product requirements, as well as to oversee product execution and optimization. The customer is the center of everything you do, and you are hyper focused on understand customer needs and delivering on them through design-based thinking. You will be highly collaborative and able to tell a compelling narrative around product vision to influence stakeholders to buy-in.
Job responsibilities:
- Develops expertise in Lower Mass business objectives, product strategy and customer needs to inform product development, as well as understands Consumer Bank future state product vision and how Lower Mass product development fits into that
- Partners with Finance and Analytics to assess product feasibility and create business cases to meet revenue and market share goals
- Manages market research and discovery efforts to create solutions, integrate them into the product roadmap, and drive prioritization
- Owns, maintains, and develops product backlog and product dependencies
- Develops product requirements in partnership with Core Deposits team
- Tracks and communicates delivery progress to key stakeholders
- Builds the framework and manages key success metrics
- Launches product / product features, manages go-to-market strategy and optimizes through experimentation
- Develops presentations to frame up product objectives, deliverables delivery progress, and success metrics
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management
- Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics
- Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
- Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities, experience establishing measurement frameworks
- Leverages an experimentation and test-and-learn / “fail fast” mindset and approaches
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams and influence backlogs and priorities
- Proven experience delivering timely, high-quality presentations with excellent verbal skills
- Demonstrate a high level of personal initiative, excellent work ethic, proactively setting and achieving challenging plans
- Openness to an environment of active developmental feedback from peers and managers; eagerness to work in a fast-paced, highly dynamic environment
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or Engineering
- Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization
