Department Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Sr Reliability Staff Engineer to join the dynamic Product Quality Engineering (PQE) team in Plantation Fl. As a Reliability Engineer, the selected candidate will play a pivotal role in the application of reliability techniques and processes optimizing the testing process per product capabilities. Including driving multi-technology testing applications (wireless, RF, Batteries, etc) during the execution of the Enhanced Advanced Life Testing (eALT). The candidate will be responsible for designing the eALT test plans and collaborating closely with internal customers to deliver superior solutions. Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into Reliability and eALT testing solutions.

• Defining eALT technical direction for product portfolios and implementing strategies.

• Communicating eALT results via various mediums including eALT reports and summaries, Root Cause Analysis (RCA) meetings, and technical reviews.

• Develop eALT test plans per product requirements.

• Perform test engineering activities related to system verifications and readiness

• Provide engineering and technical support for lab testing activities.

• Participate in global eALT technical activities.

Qualifications:

• Proven expertise in multi-technology application design best practices, offering valuable guidance to internal teams for optimal reliability results.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of working with complex reliability testing results.

• Excellent interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration and interaction with various stakeholders.

• In-depth technical understanding of product development and platform engineering.

• Highly organized and adept at planning.

• Self-starter with exceptional self-management abilities.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (EE, ME, SW, etc)

• Strong analytical, facilitation, documentation, and communication skills are required.

• Experience in product development processes including design, development, manufacturing,  and testing.

• Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred 

Basic Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience in product development processes including design, development, manufacturing,  and testing.

• Strong analytical, facilitation, documentation, and communication skills are required.

• Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred
