Job Description

Employee Responsibilities: 

• Testing including pH, Conductivity, Total Organic Carbon, and Appearance
• Receiving, handling, and disposing of samples
• Calibrates or verifies calibration of instruments/devices prior to use.
• Accurately records test results and reports any quality anomalies
• Maintains laboratory supplies and performs laboratory housekeeping as assigned
• Ensures superlative customer service to clients
• Participates in required training activities
• Complies with all pertinent regulatory agency requirements

Leadership Responsibilities:  

• Monitors and coaches through the day-to-day operations of direct reports 
• Coordinate’s scheduling of work/training
• Performs administrative tasks related to team member growth and development
• May be responsible for maintaining multiple projects
• Participates in overtime, weekend, and holiday testing when needed

Qualifications

The Ideal Candidate Would Possess: 

• Is self-motivated, adaptable, team oriented, and has a positive attitude 
• Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies 
• Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail 
• Desire to work in moderately physical role that requires standing much of the time
• Strong computer and organizational skills 
• Ensures that direct reports feel supported
• Fosters a healthy, trusting environment and champions transparency and communication

Minimum Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or other science related degree concentration,
• or equivalent directly related experience 
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or
• sponsorship
