Position Summary:
The HR Recruiter will identify, recruit, and screen potential employees for all positions in the company. This role is responsible for attracting talent that is compassionate and will provide quality support to the individuals served within InCommunity.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end recruitment process for direct support professionals, program staff, and leadership positions.
- Post positions on job boards, community websites, and social media platforms.
- Screen applications, conduct phone interviews, and coordinate hiring manager interviews.
- Develop creative sourcing strategies to attract candidates with a passion for serving individuals with developmental and physical disabilities.
- Build relationships with workforce development agencies, colleges, vocational programs, and community organizations.
- Attend and represent the organization at job fairs, networking events, and community outreach activities.

- Ensure a professional, inclusive, and respectful candidate experience from initial contact through onboarding.
- Communicate regularly with candidates regarding application status.
- Promote the organization’s mission and culture to attract mission-aligned talent.

- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop recruitment plans.
- Provide updates and reporting on open positions, candidate pipelines, and hiring metrics.
- Collaborate with HR and training teams to ensure smooth onboarding. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education, Certifications & Experience Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associates degree preferred.
- Minimum 1–2 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably in human services, healthcare, or nonprofit settings.
- Proven experience with applicant tracking systems and Microsoft Office Suite required. Paycom experience preferred.
- Experience recruiting for positions serving individuals with developmental or physical disabilities strongly preferred.
