The US Wholesale Business Planning & Merchandising Manager will lead two key initiatives:
Serve as the driver of the US Wholesale channel assortment strategy using knowledge of Wholesale channel and total YETI product trends to optimize retailer, pursuit, or account segment product decisions to increase revenue
Lead customer facing business planning team to understand historical, current, and future sales and inventory landscapes to uncover sales opportunities and work with demand planning to ensure accurate inventory signals are being incorporated into the demand and supply planning processes
This individual needs to be an effective communicator, analytical, and a collaborative problem-solver who can incorporate broader business context into data and analysis.

Responsibilities:
- Own and drive the US Wholesale assortment strategy across national, key, and independent channels
- Use strategic analysis of current and historical sales trends to drive the US Wholesale business and influence future assortment decisions
- Collaborate with product category management, demand planning, and sales teams to develop the most productive product strategies/assortment for the US Wholesale channel while building cohesion between these cross functional partners
- Analyze current and historical sell thru and inventory data to evaluate and develop ideal launch strategies for an increasing product portfolio and sku offerings
- Lead and manage US Wholesale business planners, partnering with the sales team to uncover opportunities that fuel sell thru and drive sell in growth for YETI
- Work closely with demand planning teams to incorporate monthly account forecasts into monthly demand plan
- Collaborate with sales leaders on creation of material used for quarterly business reviews, account presentations and senior leadership discussions with accounts
Qualifications and Attributes:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Analytics, or related field
- At least 8 years of experience in Planning, Buying, Sales Operations, or Finance roles with planning and forecasting experience
- Ability to comprehend and navigate intricacies of wholesale & retail landscape to affect day to day decisions while implementing YETI’s long term strategic vision
- Experience managing, coaching, and developing business planning analysts
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel (vlookups, sumifs, index/match, pivot tables, etc.) and PowerPoint
- Attention to detail, strong business acumen, love digging into data and finding drivers to demand
- Combine curiosity with critical thinking and good judgment, and like asking "why" to unravel a seemingly complex problem and get to the root cause
- Self-starter and persistent with strong analytical and organizational skills
- Is known for developing and delivering results on a timely basis
- Able to work in an ambiguous, fast-growing team-first environment
- Ability to handle changing priorities and use good judgment in stressful situations
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Must be willing to be onsite at our Austin HQ office located off Southwest Parkway 3 days a week.

- Hybrid: Role requires you to be located in Austin, Texas and is a mixture of onsite and remote.
