As a Document Capture Solutions Developer will play a critical role in designing, developing, and implementing innovative document capture and data extraction solutions using IBM Datacap and AWS Textract. This position focuses on processing both digital and handwritten forms in English and other languages, ensuring efficient and accurate data capture. You will have a strong background in software development, document capture technologies, and customization of IBM Datacap and AWS Textract solutions. Excellent technical skills, a problem-solving mindset, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment are essential for success.
WORKSITE: Hybrid/Remote options are available depending on project requirements.
WORK SCHEDULE: Must work in West Coast Hours, Travel as needed to Sacramento CA
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Requirements Gathering and Analysis:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements for document capture and data extraction workflows.
- Solution Design:
- Design solutions leveraging IBM Datacap and AWS Textract to address business needs, including document classification, data extraction, and workflow automation.
- Development and Customization:
- Develop and customize IBM Datacap applications, workflows, and modules using Datacap Studio, Datacap Navigator, and related tools.
- Configure and optimize document recognition and extraction rules utilizing IBM Datacap's intelligent capture capabilities.
- Integration:
- Integrate IBM Datacap and AWS Textract with enterprise systems such as content management platforms, ERP systems, and other business applications.
- Scripting and Extensions:
- Develop custom scripts, modules, and plugins to extend IBM Datacap functionality and enable seamless third-party system integration.
- Testing and Quality Assurance:
- Conduct unit, integration, and system testing to ensure the reliability and quality of solutions.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with business analysts, architects, QA testers, and other cross-functional teams to deliver robust, end-to-end document capture solutions.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in designing, developing, and implementing solutions using IBM Datacap and AWS Textract.
- Strong understanding of document capture technologies, including handwriting recognition and multi-language processing.
- Proficiency in using tools like Datacap Studio, Datacap Navigator, and AWS Textract APIs.
- Experience with scripting and programming languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python, C#) for solution customization.
- Familiarity with enterprise system integrations, including ERP, content management systems, and line-of-business applications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with AI/ML techniques for intelligent document processing.
- Knowledge of OCR technologies and natural language processing (NLP).
- Certification in IBM Datacap or AWS Textract is a plus.
