Job Description

The candidate is expected to perform experiments to support downstream process development activities for viral vectors manufacturing.

  • Working experience with viral vectors is required.
  • Conduct purification experiments utilizing Äkta Avant systems.
  • Record and analyze experimental data, verify data integrity and accuracy.
  • Report/summarize findings to the project team.
  • Write technical documents and main work records in electronic notebooks.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or a related scientific discipline
  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

  • Hands-on experience in purification of proteins or biologics is required.
  • Broad knowledge in chromatography techniques and purification process development is required
  • Previous experience with transfer of a purification process to clinical and commercial GMP manufacturing is preferred.

Position is full-time, Mon-Fri 9am-5pm. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Spring House, PA are encouraged to apply.
