Normet offers a broad range of battery electric vehicles, Normet SmartDrives, and we want to strengthen our sourcing in this strategic area.</p><p></p><p>For this position we are looking for a</p><p></p><p><b>Global Sourcing Manager, Electrification</b></p><p></p><p>to lead sourcing activities especially in technologies required in battery electric vehicles and electrification. This includes, but is not limited to, traction batteries, battery cooling systems, inverters, drive motors, and charging stations. The position is based preferably in Espoo or Iisalmi. Other locations in Finland e.g. Oulu or Tampere may be considered.</p><p></p><p><b>Main responsibilities and tasks:</b></p><p></p><p>You develop and manage suppliers in your area of responsibility and are responsible for all commercial negotiations with them. You follow development of technologies and the supply landscape in electrification, working closely with our R&amp;D team. You work strategically to ensure material availability as per our growth plans and customer demand. You are on top of trade compliance and logistics requirements in your technologies and can advise our purchasing teams about them. Your key KPIs include agreement coverage, material availability and quality, and material cost development. Your sourcing responsibility covers both equipment production and service needs.</p><p></p><p><b>To shine in this position, we hope you have:</b></p><ul><li>Sourcing experience in the field of electrification.</li><li>Experience in off-highway machine or automotive industry.</li><li>Strategic mindset with strong analytical capabilities.</li><li>Strong command of procurement processes and negotiation skills.</li><li>Excellent capability to work cross-functionally in an international organization.</li><li>Good networking and relationship management skills.</li><li>Fluent written and spoken Finnish and English language.</li><li>Proficiency in ERP (MS D365 F&amp;O), MS Office tools, and modern reporting tools.</li><li>Master’s degree in supply chain and logistics or relevant engineering discipline.</li></ul><p></p><p><b><i>Come and share your courage to shine with us</i></b>: in a courageous, committed and caring company.
