What you'll be doing

• Oversee and lead a maintenance team that could include mechanics and technicians to support operations in an area

• Facilitate, verify, and conduct appropriate training for employees in the area (including but not limited to GMP, troubleshooting, maintenance skills, and safety)

• Ensure compliance with all GMP rules, specifications, SOPs, and FDA requirements as required.

• Submit and/or maintain and distribute reports related to attendance, labor, maintenance metrics, safety, and others as needed.

• Sustain a clean and safe work area using 6S principles

• Learn, understand and apply rigorous quality standards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)

What you'll bring

• Candidate must not be allergic to Penicillin or Cephalosporin Drugs

• Associate Degree in a scientific or engineering discipline with a minimum of 5 or more years of Industrial Maintenance experience / Manufacturing Supervision experience or equivalent.

• Demonstrated communication, administrative and strong technical leadership skills with ability to interface well with other departments and lead effectively and efficiently in a team environment. Solid professional writing skills. Then list preferred requirements for the role

• Solid understanding of maintenance systems to include preventive maintenance and CMMS - Maximo experience is a plus.

• Ability to understand regulatory and safety guidelines applicable to the medical / pharmaceutical industry and industry in general. Experience and knowledge with Lockout / Tagout and other Safety Programs is a plus.

• Understand verbal and written safety and quality instructions and read and comprehend written work instructions including words and drawings.

• Must have basic English written and oral communication skills adequate to communicate with other team members.

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all our employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. To that end, this position has a salary range of $80,000 to $110,000 and also includes an annual incentive bonus. The above range represents the expected salary range for this position. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic/office location
