Job Description
The University of Nevada, Las Vegas invites applications for Grounds Maintenance Worker 4
ROLE of the POSITION
At the direction of the Grounds Supervisor, the major purpose of this position is to ensure that all athletic fields, turfs, outside courts, courses, tracks and surrounding athletic areas are clean, healthy and game/event ready on a daily basis by working on sprinkler systems, landscaping and trash removal.
Due to the nature of athletics and the event industry, this position works a variable work week shedule that may include weekends, evenings and holidays.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Graduation from high school or equivalent education and three years of supervisory experience, one year of which was supervising a variety of work units engaged in the maintenance, construction and/or alteration of landscapes; OR graduation from high school or equivalent education and three years of supervisory experience, one year of which was supervising a variety of work units engaged in the operation, maintenance, and repair of irrigation systems; OR one year of experience as a Grounds Supervisor II in Nevada State service; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience as described above.

SALARY
Grade 32, Step 1, salary $ 56,689.20
