Our work is looking for a Dashboard Developer to help us support the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).
At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a Dashboard Developer you will be trusted to work with meaningful data, highlighting fraud, waste, and abuse (FWA) detected in the Medicare and Medicaid programs. In this role, a typical day will include:
- Designing, developing, and maintaining interactive dashboards that provide meaningful insights using Tableau, Databricks, Snowflake, or similar platforms
- Collaborating with data analysts, data scientists as well as managers to collect requirements, understand needs, and convert into visualizations
- Converting raw data into compelling dashboards that enable efficient decision making
- Maintaining and updating existing dashboards as needed, and train end users on how best to interact with them
- Performing quality checks on visualizations for data accuracy
- Presenting monthly visualizations at large meetings
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science (or related field of study)
- 3-5 years of related experience
- Must have familiarity with Medicare/Medicaid programs
- Working knowledge of Databricks, Snowflake, or Tableau (or similar dashboard platforms)
- Working knowledge of SQL, understanding of data modeling, and experience working with large datasets
- Ability to create data visualizations to present complex analyses and to illustrate trends
- Knowledge of best practices for dashboard design, including accessibility and usability standards
- Familiarity with R or Python
- Familiarity with HTML and JavaScript
- Ability to obtain a Public trust and must have lived in the US for 3 of the past 5 years
Desired Skills:
- Strong working knowledge of best practices for dashboard design, including accessibility and usability standards
- Strong working knowledge of Python or SQL
- Strong working knowledge of Databricks and Snowflake
- Strong working knowledge of HTML and JavaScript
- Excellent communication skills to work collaboratively with both technical and non-technical team members
- Be a self-starter with a natural curiosity to understand, simplify and explain complex data

The likely salary range for this position is $85,093 - $115,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.Scheduled Weekly Hours:
