What you will do:
CyberArk DevOps Site Reliability Engineers are coders who enjoy a challenge and own the availability of CyberArk SaaS (infrastructure - application) by implementing best in class cloud-based solutions in AWS using infrastructure as code. You'll be using proactive approach of prevention over mitigation and mitigation over fixing.
The DevOps SRE collaborates with Developers and works with PM to continuously improve the service availability and quality.
The role includes the lifecycle of production applications including troubleshooting, code deployments, and infrastructure management.
You will share ownership with Dev team to create shared responsibility where the SRE owns the availability of the service, proactive prevention of issues, performing deliberate and structured troubleshooting to mitigate issues.
CyberArk Cloud Engineering is looking for a Staff DevOps Site Reliability Engineer with "automation first" mindset who is passionate about performance, stability, and security to share responsibility over the ownership of CyberArk SaaS reliability. The Site Reliability Engineer will work closely with the Development teams and the DevOps Engineers to ensure the security, performance, resiliency, and scale of production services
What you need to succeed:
- Must have: AWS, Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes, CI/CD
- Advanced knowledge in Ansible automation
- Advanced knowledge of Infrastructure as a Code (Terraform)
- Must have at least 3+ years of hands-on Experience with AWS (Architect or DevOps/SysOps AWS Certification is highly preferred)
- Advanced knowledge of Kubernetes for containers orchestration
- Advanced knowledge of CI/CD tools such as GitLab, Jenkins or Bamboo
- Advanced knowledge in Python, Perl, or Golang
- Experience in implementing Observability and monitoring in AWS with Splunk or ELK or similar tools
- 2+ years of in-depth experience deploying production applications on Kubernetes; detailed understanding of K8S scheduling, networking, security, load-balancing
- Experience with EKS, ECS and ECR
- Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always-up, always-available mission critical service
- Experience working in an agile environment, with a focus on fast cycle times and continuous deployment
- Experience supporting, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed mission-critical systems
- Must be a U.S Citizen for meeting with FedRAMP High authorized access requirements
How you will stand out from the crowd:
- Experience in implementing and supporting Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP), and other applicable government standards, policies, and regulations (e.g., NIST 800-137, NIST 800-53, 800-37 and 800-39)
- Building software and/or platforms where security, regulatory compliance and high availability are critical
