Finance / Accounting Specialist

As an Finance and Accounting Specialist, your mission is to maintain and constantly improve an in-house finance function. Your goal is to ensure high-quality accounting and financial reporting. You will also take an active role in improvement projects within accounting and finance.

Responsibilities

The role involves co-managing the Budget, General Ledger, overseeing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes and conducting thorough balance sheet reconciliations. The month and year-end close process and financial analysis are important components of the position, ensuring accuracy and clarity in financial reporting. Monthly KPI Reporting to the board and joining the board of director's meetings is part of this role.

Furthermore, the responsibilities extend to handling monthly VAT reporting, monthly salaries, setting standards and establishing streamlined processes regarding accounting etc. The role requires addressing various ad-hoc requests mainly coming from the CEO and Commercial team.

Background and previous experience

• A university degree in finance or accounting

• 4+ years experience working with accounting and month-end close processes

• Fluent in Swedish & English, both spoken and written
