Job Description:  Softrams is seeking a Strategic Communications Consultant.  

Federal Requirements:

• Ability to obtain a U.S. Federal Position of Trust clearance designation.  
• Must reside in and be able to perform work in the United States.  
• Must have lived in the United States for 3 of the last 5 years. 

Required Qualifications:

• Three years of professional experience managing strategic communications emphasizing supporting government and public sector communications activities. 
• Experience in strategic planning, audience identification, engagement and assessment with measurable impact. 
• Experience in managing projects that are cross-cutting across various stakeholders with specific results and deadlines. 
• Must demonstrate superior oral and writing skills as well as outstanding project management abilities. 
• Experience producing case studies 
• Strategic communications on large (50+ employee) federal agile development programs 
• Change management expertise 

Responsibilities:

• Strategic Communications consultant will support initiatives across the organization to help socialize (case studies, white papers, feature emphasis, public benefit and impact, showcasing, etc) the great work being done by our teams across programs (majority are Federal contracts). 
• Provides strategic and tactical communications advice to support required key initiatives and priorities.

Public Trust Clearance:This role requires the hired candidate to go through public trust clearance. A minimum of 3 years of stay in the U.S. within the last 5 years is required to be eligible to qualify for public trust clearance sponsorship.  Work Location:We have open-collaboration offices in Leesburg VA and Baltimore MD for those who may prefer to work on-site. However, Softrams is a 100% remote-first team environment. Softrams works in the eastern time zone and standard work hours are 9am ET to 5pm ET with flexibility around start and end times based on team needs.
