Syntax LLC, a financial technology and data company based in Manhattan, seeks a 2024 Summer Analyst – Law and Finance. The company recently commercialized its technology platforms, analytics, and financial indices after extensive research and development initiatives, enabling the provision of novel data-driven insights to leading global financial institutions. 

About the Role
The Summer Analyst will advance Syntax’s growth by supporting commercial licensing, capital raising, and product development.

Responsibilities will include:

• Revising commercial contracts 
• Preparing materials for investor data room 
• Reviewing financing documents  
• Managing pipeline of prospective investors and strategic partners 
• Reviewing intellectual property laws and filings 
• Conducting legal and financial research related to new products and international markets 

Requirements:

• Strong record in rigorous academic program 
• Systematic, highly analytical thinker 
• Excellent communication skills 
• Research-driven perspective 

Desired background/skills:

• Experience in corporate law 
• Legal research and writing experience
