SENIOR BARISTA (FULL TIME)

  

 

• We have an opening for a full time SENIOR BARISTA position.
• Location: 1585 BROADWAY Lobby Restaurant, New York, NY 10036 Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full time schedule. Monday through Friday, 8 hour shifts, AM and MID shifts. More details upon interview. 
• Requirement: Previous barista experience is required. Appropriate coffee industry certifications are highly preferred, but not required!  
  
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in a high-end, specialty coffee environment required, preferably in a hotel, fine dining, or corporate setting.
  • Expert proficiency with manual espresso machines (e.g., La Marzocco, Slayer, Victoria Arduino) and precision grinders.
  • This role is not simply about serving coffee; it is about providing a sophisticated, "white-glove" hospitality experience for our staff and high-profile guests.
  • The ideal candidate possesses deep coffee expertise, exceptional command of manual espresso machines, and the ability to drive creative, high-end beverage programs.

Job Summary

Summary:  Makes and serves coffee/espresso drinks and related food and beverage items. Handles food according to HACCP guidelines and standards for quality food-service operations. Interacts with customers and other employees in a friendly, courteous manner.
