Job Summary:
PLNU is seeking a creative and strategic marketing professional to develop and execute compelling digital, social media, and print communications that engage alumni, parents, donors, and friends of the university. The Advancement Marketing Coordinator will be a crucial member of the Office of University Advancement, supporting content creation and collaborating with team members to deliver captivating communication in a variety of forms. Ideal candidates will have strong writing and design abilities, exceptional project management skills, and a keen eye for detail. This role requires collaboration, creativity, and an ability to learn quickly.Salary:
Pay range $22.19 - $23.97 per hour

Job Description:
What We're Looking For:
Creatively minded professional with an eye for design and interest in multi-media marketing strategies
Professional experience with social media management and asset creation

Superb written and verbal communication skills

What You'll Be Doing:
Oversee a yearly print and digital communications calendar leading a taskforce of UA colleagues.
Work closely with UA program leads to create and execute variety of email, social media, and print communications.
Act as lead content creator and strategist for UA social media engagement.
Manage UA webpages ensuring information, pictures, data, and electronic forms are relevant and accurate.
Serve as liaison to the PLNU Marketing Office.
Manage print and visual materials for events, including signage, banners, handouts, presentations, and name tags.
Collect and review communications analytics to deliver data-informed recommendations.
Create variety of assets for digital and print use.
Qualifications:
Understanding of and commitment to the spiritual mission of the University.
Bachelor's degree in a related field (Marketing, Business, Communications or Graphic Design) or three years of marketing or design experience.
Strong computer skills: Google Workspace, Windows, Excel, Word.
Experience utilizing a database/CRM preferred.
Design skills strongly preferred: Canva, Adobe In-Design, Photoshop, Publisher, etc.
Strong writing and editing skills.
Knowledge of email management software, such as MailChimp or NetCommunity, is preferred.
Knowledge and understanding of strategic planning for social media and communication platforms preferred.
Ability to think creatively and strategically.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to use independent judgment in prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
Ability to perform successfully in a team environment.
Ability to occasionally work evenings and weekends as needed
