What you get to do:
- Provide exemplary service and ensure Operations Standards are met by resolving guest concerns, investigating and providing recommendations to correct reoccurring guest issues, ensuring all team members are providing the highest level of guest courtesy, recognizing and rewarding team members who provide exceptional service.
- Interview and hire leadership team members.
- Ensure a safe environment for all team members and guests
- Supervise, train and counsel team members, team leads and assistant supervisors while enforcing and complying with safety procedures, guidelines and park policies and procedures.
- Responsible for the development of Assistant Supervisors and team members by providing training, feedback and coaching.
- Ensure compliance of Child Labor Laws with regards to breaks, lunches and hours worked per day.
- Monitor and control labor budgets as directed by the Aquatics Manager.
- Maintain the highest level of cleanliness in the park, conduct quality inspections of assigned areas, and follow up on any improvement opportunities.
- Manage the area opening and closing procedures and ensure all team members complete tasks within a timely manner.
- Schedule compactor pulls
- Perform other miscellaneous tasks as required.
- Perform all front-line duties as needed to include walkway, patio, and restroom cleaning and pressure washing.
- Maintain inventory and stock/replace areas supplies and equipment as needed
What it takes to succeed:
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Have a valid high school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year proven leadership experience and a good understanding of labor and expense management, 2-3 years of leadership and guest service/hospitality experience preferred.
- Excellent multi-tasking and time management skills.
- Outstanding communication, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Flexibility to perform varied duties.
- Valid driver’s license and able to meet company's driving guidelines
- Be able to provide approved footwear (i.e., approved non-slip sneaker shoes, specified color requirements, etc.) upon first date of employment.
- Be able to successfully complete all legal, company and department training requirements.
- Be able to perform job duties/task and meet the minimum qualifications of the positions within the scope of supervision.
- Have working knowledge of the English language with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Provide excellent guest service to guests and ambassadors.
- Be able to walk and stand for long periods of time in extreme weather conditions.
- Be willing to work a flexible schedule that includes weekdays, weekends, evenings and holidays.
- Consistently practices safe work habits including, but not limited to the use of personal protective equipment, lifting and reporting of unsafe situations.
- Be willing to comply with and ensure ambassadors comply with all SEA grooming guidelines and employment standards.
- Able to lift or move 75lbs
- Able to complete provided CPR/AED training/certification
- Able to climb stairs/ladders
- Comfortable with operating Air Blowers/Pressure washers and other general heavy equipment for cleaning
- Comfortable working around fumes/dust/odor
- Able to bend, sit, stand, squat, stoop, walk, kneel, reach with hands and arms at shoulder level or below, climb and reach with hands and arms above shoulder level
- Comfortable speaking in front of large groups of guests and team members
