Coordinator of Events & Programs, Soccer Shots Harrisburg

Reports to: Director of Operations

It is the Coordinator of Events & Programs' responsibility to support Soccer Shots programming and to improve programming in the entire territory. Coordinator of Events & Programs is responsible for:

• Implementing the company’s high standard for program planning and organization through the entire territory.
• Setting an example in the areas of personal character, commitment, communication, and work habits.
• Following established plans, processes, and strategies to strengthen the current business while expanding the customer base.
• Demonstrating excellent customer service and frequent and timely communication at all times

The Coordinator of Events & Programs works off seasonal and annual Action Plans (approved by Director of Operations) and is responsible for the following job functions:

• Commit to Partnerships - seasonal prep and promotion, relationship management
• Providing a Beloved Growth Experience - communication, strong attention to detail, and problem solving
• Continually assesses and express the Soccer Shots difference

Coaching/Covering Assignment: The Event & Program Coordinator will be involved in coaching and providing our product to families. Coaching assignments are assigned by the Director of Coaching and will change each season based on seasonal and team needs.

Working Schedule: Between seasons (approximately 12 weeks of the year), expected working hours are 8:30am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday. Two working evenings are required each season along with Saturday morning work hours seasonally. Occasionally, there are events that may take place on a weekend or evening. These will be shared among the team and hours will be arranged to cover these.

During seasons, expected working hours are will vary. We will work with you to coordinate your schedule as early as possible. However, there are always last minute changes and adjustments so some flexibility is needed. Start weeks, make up dates, special events, etc. are times when flexible hours and schedules are required.
Working Location:

Must work from the established office during working hours, unless approved to be working in the “field”. Must meet at least once/weekly with supervisor. At times, position is required to stand, run, walk and communicate in an outdoor environment through duration of work assignment.

Role/Classification:

The job description above is a full time position requiring approximately 40 hours of work per week. During busy seasons, it may be necessary to work additional hours to meet deadlines and goals.

• Adheres to all company policies and represents Soccer Shots with professionalism and integrity.

Compensation: $40,000.00 - $44,000.00 per year
