As a Manager, Program Management in Capital One’s Bank Tech Organization, you’ll work on the Bank Modernization initiative driving innovation, optimizing operational efficiencies and fueling the bank's future as we reimagine our Consumer Bank through our new core banking platform .

This role will work closely with our Audit and Risk teams. This person will be responsible for working closely with the teams to craft Audit responses, identify areas of improvement, and manage program risk.

General Responsibilities:

• Leveraging problem solving and critical thinking to work through audit responses and risk management

• Ensuring projects are documented appropriately to mitigate risk and to be delivered on time

• Partnering cross-functionally with project customers to provide strategic and tactical thought partnership to effectively drive project delivery

• Building relationships and collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure delivery of commitments

• Exhibit outstanding influencing skills to effectively drive project / program efforts

• Demonstrate a proven track record of excellent project management, bringing the ability to quickly put structure in place to manage work in a dynamic complex environment

• Have excellent communication and partnership skills which are essential for interacting and communicating with key stakeholders at all levels across the company to manage, inform and influence outcomes

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Military experience

• At least 6 Years of Project Management experience

• At least 2 years of program audit or technical risk management experience

• At least 2 years of experience partnering with internal audit, business continuity, or centralized risk and compliance teams

Preferred Qualifications:

• 7+ years of Project Management experience

• 3+ years of program audit or technical risk management experience

• 3+ years of experience partnering with internal audit, business continuity, or centralized risk and compliance teams

• Robust critical thinking skills

• Excellent problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills

• PMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification

• Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or Certified Risk & Information Systems Control (CRISC) certifications
