We develop cloud-native services with high reliability and massive scale on top of Akamai Cloud (formerly Linode) the most distributed and closest to the edge cloud platform in the world.</p><p>As a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test, you will be responsible for:</p><ul><li>Participating in the design, development, improvement, operation, and automation of observability solutions for Akamai services</li><li>Partnering with product owners, development, and test groups to create rapid cycles of feedback and improvement</li><li>Testing, profiling, and monitoring code performance</li><li>Developing testplans and testcases for new features and improvements</li><li>Diagnosing system performance and reliability together with the team of Site Reliability Engineers</li><li>Following modern DevOps practices, building new services, or enhancing the existing ones</li><li>Creating new automation for existing test plans</li></ul><p><b>Do what you love</b></p><p>To be successful in this role you will:</p><ul><li>Collaborate and effectively communicate with multidisciplinary teams to solve technical and business challenges</li><li>Have experience with test case automation; we use Python, but familiarity with any test automation framework is welcome</li><li>Have experience in designing , developing, and maintaining automation test suites using test frameworks</li><li>Have experience in GNU/Linux or Unix environment</li><li>Be familiar with Configuration management tools like Ansible</li><li>Be using Jenkins and developing Jenkins pipelines</li></ul><p><b>Work in a way that works for you</b></p><p>FlexBase, Akamai's Global Flexible Working Program, is based on the principles that are helping us create the best workplace in the world.
