About the Role:

We're seeking a Content Designer to join our mission of improving the financial services for immigrants and their families worldwide. As a key member of the Core Experience team, you'll shape our content vision, conducting research to understand user needs and refining content iteratively based on feedback and insights. With a strong attention to detail and brand voice, you'll maintain consistency across all content touchpoints. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Product Design, you'll play a pivotal role in enhancing our users' experiences.

You Will:

• Design, write, edit and test clear, compelling in-product language to help users and teams meet their goals
• Participate in design critiques to lead consistency and improve content quality.
• Document and maintain evolving content, brand, and voice/tone standards.
• Partner with other content designers, product designers, researchers, product managers, analysts, and engineers to understand customer needs, define requirements, and align on business goals
• Apply systems thinking to the product, whether it's defining extensible design system guidance, conducting audits of existing experiences or creating information architecture.
• Incorporate performance metrics and user research into content decisions for product experiences

You Have:

• Minimum of 5+ years of content design or relevant UX writing experience
• Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Technical Writing, UX, HCI, or equivalent practical experience
• Writing portfolio including, but not limited to: user interface copy, microcopy, user education.
• Experience designing and shipping end-to-end products with complicated flows, multiple scenarios, and edge cases.
• Experience in simplifying and communicating complex ideas to broad audiences in a compelling way.
• Familiarity working with compliance and legal teams during the content development and approval process

Compensation Details. The starting base salary range for this position is typically $124,000-$155,000. In the U.S., Remitly employees are shareholders in our Company and equity is part of our total compensation plan.
