Position Summary/Essential Duties

Performs general maintenance, service, upkeep, repair, testing, inspections, troubleshooting and preventative maintenance of Hospital biomedical equipment. Performs additional duties as requested by Plant Operations Management Team or Senior Management. 

  • Reports for scheduled shift on time and prepared to assume responsibilities.     
  • Attends and participates in meetings and is responsible for all information communicated at meetings.
  • Adheres to Corporate, Regional, hospital and departmental policy and procedure 100% of the time. 
  •   Assists all patients, family members, physicians, visitors and employees in a professional and courteous manner 
  • Follows Infection Control procedures at all times. 

EDUCATION:    

Minimum: Associate's Degree  

Preferred: Bachelor's Degree

EXPERIENCE:  

Two (2) years as a Biomedical Technician strongly preferred.  Prior experience in a healthcare setting required.

REQUIRED CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE/REGISTRATION:  

Biomedical Engineering licensure/certification strongly preferred.  

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:  

Training in Electronic Engineering
