The Field Sales Marketing Manager is a field‑based role responsible for driving best‑in‑class consumer activation, demo, and sampling programs across New York City and Long Island in support of poppi’s rapid growth. This individual serves as the face of the brand in the market, ensuring poppi shows up consistently, professionally, and impactfully at live events and consumer touchpoints.
This role partners closely with agency teams, distributor partner Big Geyser, and poppi leadership to plan, execute, and evaluate high‑volume field activations. The Field Sales Marketing Manager is accountable for ensuring flawless execution on the ground, as well as delivering clear, business‑ready communication and performance recaps that inform investment decisions and strengthen distributor and internal alignment.
Location Requirement: This role must be based in New York City or Long Island. Vehicle Requirement: A vehicle and valid driver’s license are required due to frequent in‑market travel. Mileage reimbursement is provided by company.
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute sampling and experiential activations across priority NYC neighborhoods and retail environments
- Align activations with retail programming, seasonal moments, and key local events
- Optimize schedules and locations to maximize trial, visibility, and velocity
- Ensure brand standards and execution excellence across all activations
- Manage third-party field marketing agencies and execution teams
- Set clear expectations, KPIs, and performance standards
- Partner closely with Big Geyser to align priorities, inventory support, and activation timing
- Provide consistent weekly communication to poppi leadership and distributor partners including:
- Activation coverage & schedules
- Performance insights & learnings
- Market feedback & competitive activity
- Opportunities and risks
- Deliver post-activation recaps with clear ROI insights and recommendations
- Identify high-impact locations and continuously optimize future activations
Compensation and Benefits:
- The expected compensation range for this position is between $80,700 - $135,100.
- Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
- Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 5% of annual salary paid out annually.
- Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications
Required Experience and Skills
- 2-4 years of working experience in field marketing, experiential marketing, demo/sampling programs and brand activations required
- Car and valid driver's license required (field travel across NYC and Long Island)
- Experience managing agency partners and overseeing on-the-ground execution
- Proven ability to plan, execute, and recap high-volume field activations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to deliver clear, business ready recaps
- Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Powerpoint)
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Comfortable working independently with high autonomy in a fast-paced, high growth brand
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in CPG (food or beverage a plus)
- Prior agency experience
- Experience supporting a distributor-led or retail-adjacent activations
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field (preferred, not required)
