As a result, wild independents can thrive.</p><p></p><p>As a Senior Software Engineer - Backend at Ankorstore, you'll design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems that power our B2B marketplace and service offering connecting brands with retailers.  </p><p>You'll work within a multidisciplinary team composed of a core engineering team, the Product Manager, Engineering Manager, UX Designer to solve challenging problems that help our users succeed in their businesses. </p><p></p><p><strong>Main Responsibilities</strong></p><p>As part of the squad your responsibilities will include : </p><ul><li><p>Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define and implement solutions</p></li><li><p>Design, develop, and maintain backend services</p></li><li><p>Contribute to the evolution of our architecture</p></li><li><p>Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code with appropriate test coverage</p></li><li><p>Embrace new technologies such as AI when designing solutions</p></li><li><p>Troubleshoot and debug complex issues across the platform</p></li><li><p>Optimize application performance and ensure scalability</p></li><li><p>Participate in code reviews and mentor more junior team members</p></li><li><p>Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing</p></li><li><p>Support the on-call rotation to ensure platform reliability</p></li><li><p>Continuously improve development practices and processes</p></li></ul><p><br/><strong>Tech stack</strong></p><ul><li><p>Front-end: Vue.js, Typescript, Vuex, sass, webpack</p></li><li><p>Back-end: PHP 8.3, Laravel 10, Golang</p></li><li><p>Infrastructure: GCP, Kubernetes, MySQL, Redis</p></li><li><p>Tools: Github, CircleCI, Sentry, Notion</p></li></ul><p></p><p><strong>Preferred Experience</strong></p><ul><li><p>5+ years of professional experience in backend web development</p></li><li><p>Strong proficiency in at least one of our core languages: PHP or Golang</p></li><li><p>Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture</p></li><li><p>Solid understanding of database design and optimization (MySQL)</p></li><li><p>Experience with message queuing systems</p></li><li><p>Knowledge of search technologies (Elasticsearch)</p></li><li><p>Understanding of cloud infrastructure, preferably GCP</p></li><li><p>Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities</p></li><li><p>Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal</p></li><li><p>Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams</p></li><li><p>Commitment to writing maintainable, tested code</p></li><li><p>Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions</p></li></ul><p></p><p><strong>Benefits/Perks</strong></p><p>At Ankorstore we offer a versatile range of benefits to support employees' well-being and work-life balance, fostering personal growth within an innovative and adaptable work environment.</p><ul><li><p>We are a remote-friendly company, and you will have an hybrid contract, based in Paris</p></li><li><p>All of our employees are automatically covered by Health Insurance &amp; Life Insurance.
