Senior Java Engineer

<h2>Short Description</h2> <p>Our client is a multinational manufacturing corporation with a core activity in the production, distribution and sale of trucks(one of the largest manufacturers of heavy-duty trucks in the world), buses, cars and construction equipment, they also supply marine and industrial drive systems and financial services. They are growing and are looking for a strong Senior Engineer to join our Romania team on the following project: Data enablement is a proactive approach to managing data that utilizes defined and enforced policies to ensure data accuracy and accessibility. </p> <p>This approach utilizes real-time automation for data validation, classification, and management, providing complete visibility into data lineage and associated metadata. The implementation of a comprehensive and searchable data catalog, which is updated in real-time, enables self-service data access and discovery. </p> <p>The current project aims to optimize data accessibility by reading data from a legacy system, storing it in a database, and caching it for faster user access.</p> <h2>Qualifications</h2> <p>Must have:</p> <ul> <li>5+ years developing with Java 8 or later.</li> <li>Good understanding and hands-on experience with microservice architecture.</li> <li>Spring.</li> <li>Experience with message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ or similar).</li> <li>SQL\NoSQL Databases (MySQL, MongoDB, Tablestorage, etc).</li> <li>Research, evaluate, estimate, and implement technical solutions for business requirements.</li> <li>Suggest technical and functional improvements to add value to the product.</li> <li>Participate in architecture and design sessions on a regular basis.</li> <li>Good communication skills.</li> <li>Self-driven, self-organized.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>Would be a plus: </p> <ul> <li>Experience in work with data of people/human resources.</li> <li>Experience in the automotive domain.</li> </ul> <h2>Job Responsibilities</h2> <ul> <li>Communication with client representatives to formalize the technical specifications for development,</li> <li>Development of the server-side of applications according to client requirements and agreed-upon technical specifications,</li> <li>Development and ensuring high-quality code and documentation,</li> <li>Conducting code reviews, testing, and optimizing the server-side of applications,</li> <li>Collaboration with other developers working on the same product, assisting less experienced developers,</li> <li>Interaction with other testing teams and management</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>#13360</p>
