Purpose of Role
The Sr. Lead, Regional Planning Operations is responsible for driving consistent, efficient, and scalable planning operations across the region. This role partners closely with Global Planning, Technology, and Regional stakeholders to optimize planning processes, ensure system and data integrity, and enable accurate forecasting and agile decision-making that supports Under Armour’s business objectives.
Your Impact
This role will focus on optimizing planning activities that support Under Armour’s goals while streamlining calendar deliverables and workback, aligning with key cross-functional teammates and ensuring resources are available to support team needs. This is a highly collaborative role that will partner with key teammates across the organization. This role will require strong communication skills with multiple key partners across functions and the ability to prioritize and think critically.
Key areas of focus for this role include:
Goal Alignment
• Understand Under Armour America’s Annual Operational Plan (AOP) and underlying goals with planning specific KPIs associated to support.
• Track and report on planning’s progress in supporting the AOP and KPIs.
Process Improvement
• Collaborate with key partners across global, regional and channel organizations to ensure planning frameworks, tools, and governance models are effectively adopted and scale across the planning hierarchy.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Planning and key cross-functional teams to identify gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Continuously assess and improve planning processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability across the region.
• Enable agile and resilient operations by strengthening system readiness, process clarity, and change adoption across teams.
Calendar Management
• Align planning workstreams with cross-functional workstreams.
• Manage planning calendar for key milestones and workback dates. Ensure timelines are achievable and align with key dates from GTM calendar and cross-functional team workstreams.
E2E Systems Maintenance
• Lead regional implementation, configuration, and ongoing management of planning and inventory management systems.
• Own regional system setup, uploads, and process enablement to support multiple planning capability areas.
• Ensure accuracy, integrity, and consistency of data across planning platforms to support reliable forecasting and reporting.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree with typically 10 years of relevant experience, OR Master's degree with typically 8 years of relevant experience, OR Typically 14 years of relevant work experience without degree.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Analytics, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in planning operations, supply chain planning, inventory management, or related operational roles.
• Experience implementing and managing enterprise planning and inventory management systems in a matrixed organization.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end planning processes, forecasting, and data governance.
• Demonstrated ability to operate between global strategy and regional execution, balancing standardization with local needs.
• Proven track record of driving process improvement and system adoption.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Effective communicator and collaborator with the ability to influence cross-functional partners.
Workplace Location
- Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our Baltimore office.
- Work Schedule: This role follows a hybrid work schedule, requiring 4 days in-office per week.
