The Workplace Technology team seeks to provide high quality technical guidance and support for all computer system needs for the American Chemical Society. With a strong focus on customer service, Workplace Technology aims to provide technology to support the productivity of staff, which is needed to further the mission of the Society.
Position Summary:
The Workplace Technology Asset Manager Engineer will be responsible for assisting with managing and maintaining the company's hardware and software assets. This includes overseeing the lifecycle of all IT assets, from procurement to disposal, ensuring that they are efficiently used, accounted for and properly licensed. The successful candidate will be required to perform internal audits and maintain an accurate record of all IT assets.
Primary Responsibilities:
Physical Office Audit - conduct a physical audit of the Hach and Othmer buildings
Update records in Ivanti Asset Manager
Hardware reclaims (post refresh or anyone who kept the old system)
Network Printer Audit Internal Software Audit: conduct for the following software in use to ensure compliance
Update Software records Review and update process and procedures documentation.
Education Requirements:
The Ideal candidate will be a rising junior majoring Information Technology, Computer Science or Business Administration.

Position Summary
*This position will be primarily based in the Washington D.C. (or applicable) office. ACS employees work a hybrid work schedule, consisting of working onsite, three days per week. ACS employees are in the office on Tuesday and Wednesday with the third in-office day scheduled in consultation with the manager. Schedule flexibility may be required for this role to support in-office activities. While always welcome to work in the office, employees may work the other two days of the week from a location of their choice.
